Every single photo that you take is a success !!! I'm amazed by your art and photographer-vision. You should talk to the National Geographic Magazine and let them know about you. You are one of the best photographer I've ever seen. Congrats !!
However, the dividing line between the mountains and water near the center of the image, in this case, is visually distracting and directs the eyes towards one of the less interesting sections of the image. Especially in full view, I found that my eyes could not enjoy the view, because the focal point in the middle was small and relatively plain (the flat area of grass). And the mountains on both sides seem to box me in even more, so that rather than enjoying the vast vista, I felt like I was trapped a bit. I'm sure you probably have a good reason for choosing the portrait view, but I would have liked to see a landscape version too!
In terms of the clouds, the weather was clear and nice, but I think the image would have looked even better during sunrise / dusk. I'm looking forward to the photos that will follow!
To took there photos during sunrise / dusk is difficult - if you want to stay there at dusk / sunrise you have to overnight there (in a tent if allowed).
