Since I've seen this photo of the "Cascade de Fontcouverte" by ~Swordtemper years ago it was my wish to visit that place some day. So during my trip in August this year I arrived Névache, a town some kilometers the valley down, at midday. I got the information that the road to the waterfalls is closed for cars between 10:00 and 18:00 o'clock. I decided to take one of the buses there, drive up to the last stop, walk up to "Lac de la Cula", stay there the night and at morning I will walk down as soon as possible to be back before 10:00 o'clock at the parking area in Névache to drive up by myself to the waterfalls. So past taking photographs in the early morning (under pressure of time) I hiked down very fast to the bus stop, drove the valley down and arrived my car at 09:56 o'clock. Then I drove up to a parking area next to the waterfalls (there is a campground) and visited the cascade to get a first impression of it. There was rain promised for midday so later I stayed by my car waiting for sunset-light. It took some hours until it started to rain (ultimately ) and then - just one hour before the sunset - the sun came out and I went to the cascade and took my photos. I was very pleased with the light and the luck I got.
